Mercedes-Benz recently inaugurated the world’s first “Maybach Brand Center,” an exclusive showroom dedicated to its ultra-luxury Maybach segment.
This strategic move elevates the customer experience and underscores the brand’s long-term commitment to the Asian market.
Located in one of Seoul’s most affluent areas, the Maybach Brand Center is a unique complex that houses a showroom, vehicle delivery area, and a personalization center. It operates by appointment only and offers a fully personalized experience to its clientele.
The global design director of Mercedes-Benz, Gorden Wagener, crafted the center’s overall design. The architectural space seamlessly blends the modern design language of Mercedes-Maybach with elements inspired by traditional Korean culture, creating a harmonious blend of contemporary and local flavors.
The center is functionally divided into three floors. The ground floor showcases the globally available Mercedes-Maybach models along with a dedicated lounge area for customers. The second floor comprises a specialized vehicle delivery area, a VIP entrance, and a valet parking service.
The third floor is the highlight, featuring a private “Salon Privée” consulting room and the MANUFAKTUR studio, where customers can personalize every detail of their vehicles. At the heart of this floor is a contemporary garden, an “oasis in the city,” offering a tranquil escape from Seoul’s bustling lifestyle. Patrons can also indulge in specially brewed coffees crafted by on-site baristas.
Coinciding with the inauguration, Mercedes-Benz unveiled the limited-edition Mercedes-Maybach Silver Lining Collection for its three flagship models: the Maybach S-Class, GLS, and EQS SUV. Each version within this collection is limited to just 12 units worldwide, emphasizing artisanal aesthetics and the brand’s most exclusive appointments.
Maybach Brand Center operates with a dedicated concierge system for its members, providing comprehensive support from appointment scheduling to vehicle configuration and after-sales service. As the first Mercedes-Maybach center globally, it signifies a new chapter in the German marque’s strategy to elevate the ultra-luxury customer experience in key markets.
Previously, in 2021, Mercedes-Benz inaugurated AMG Seoul, the first dedicated showroom for its high-performance Mercedes-AMG brand, also located in the Gangnam district. The presence of both premium brands in this region underscores the growing importance of South Korea in the global map of luxury automotive consumption.
