After months of cruising in various supercars, JDM vehicles, and stunning classic Mercedes-Benz models, Dang Le Nguyen Vu was recently spotted hitting the streets in a uniquely modified Porsche 911 sports car. Known for his extensive collection, “Qua” Vu owns nearly 20 Porsche 911s, ranging from the 930 Turbo and 911 GT2 to various 996, 997, and 991/992 variants.

While most Porsche 911 owners cherish one or two vehicles, owning dozens like “Qua” Vu means a uniquely modified model can easily catch his eye for a spin. This is precisely the story behind his Porsche 911 997.

This Porsche 911 997 has been modified in an off-road style, featuring large stainless steel bars integrated into the front and rear bumpers. While many argue this style doesn’t suit a sports car, Trung Nguyen’s owner embraces the uniqueness.

Initially, the car also featured two additional custom headlights, totaling four, but these modifications have since been removed. The roof no longer includes a cargo rack or tent.

Remaining modifications on Dang Le Nguyen Vu’s eccentric Porsche 911 Carrera include two specialized shovels mounted on the sides and a hatchet placed above the engine compartment.

Finally, the car features large single-spoke wheels and black decals with the UN symbol on both sides, whose meaning remains unclear.

Dang Le Nguyen Vu’s eccentric Porsche 911 Carrera belongs to the 997 generation, produced from 2004 to 2012. It is powered by a 3.6-liter 6-cylinder engine, delivering a maximum output of 321 horsepower and 370 Nm of peak torque.
