Kia EV6 has just been added with the Light Long Range version, alongside the two existing versions, Light and Wind.
The Kia EV6 Light Long Range version has a starting price of $45,950 (approximately 1.1 billion VND), which is $2,750 cheaper than the EV6 Wind version (starting price of $48,700 – equivalent to nearly 1.2 billion VND), but $3,350 more expensive than the standard EV6 Light version, which has a starting price of $42,600 (approximately 1.04 billion VND).
Kia EV6 Light Long Range is equipped with a 77.4 kWh battery pack, the same as the Wind version, combined with either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Meanwhile, the Kia EV6 Light version is equipped with a smaller 58 kWh battery pack.
The standard Kia EV6 Light 2024 version has an estimated maximum range of about 374 km, while the EV6 Wind RWD configuration is rated at 500 km. In theory, the new EV6 Light Long Range RWD version will also have a similar range to the Wind version, although Kia has not confirmed this information.
With the option of all-wheel drive, the Kia EV6 Light Long Range has a listed price of $49,850 (1.22 billion VND), which is $3,900 more expensive than the rear-wheel drive version. However, this version is still much more affordable compared to the EV6 Wind e-AWD, which has a price of up to $52,600 (1.29 billion VND).
Kia EV6 Light Long Range also has a competitive price compared to other competitors in the same segment. This version is $40 cheaper than the Tesla Model 3 Long Range (price of $45,990 – equivalent to 1.13 billion VND) and $250 more expensive than the Hyundai Ioniq 5 SE 2024 ($45,700 – approximately 1.12 billion VND).
