According to sales consulting information, the Peugeot 408 crossover model will be introduced by Thaco at the end of this year or at the latest by early 2024.
Globally launched in mid-2022, the Peugeot 408 2023 is developed based on the updated version of the EMP2 platform. The car has dimensions of 4,687 – 1,859 – 1,478 mm (length, width, height) and a wheelbase length of 2,787 mm.

The rear seats can be folded 60:40 to accommodate items up to 1.89 m long.
In the French market, the Peugeot 408 2023 will have 2 engine options, petrol and hybrid.
It is highly likely that when it comes to Vietnam, the car will be equipped with a 1.2L 3-cylinder petrol engine with 130 horsepower and a maximum torque of 230 Nm, with the power transmitted to the front wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The Peugeot 408 2023 is equipped with a range of driving assistance features such as automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with stop/go feature, rear cross-traffic alert, active lane keeping assist, and far-range blind spot information system.
