The upgraded version of the Toyota Mirai is now equipped with the latest Toyota Safety Sense system.

According to the plan, the Toyota Mirai 2024 will officially be launched on December 18. Toyota’s first hydrogen-powered car promises to double its safety with the latest Toyota Safety Sense system.

With the latest driving assistance package, the Toyota Mirai 2024 will have a pre-collision warning system, as well as the ability to detect pedestrians and cyclists, cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane change assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic headlights, road sign assist, and blind spot monitor.

In addition to the traditional driving assistance system, the Toyota Mirai 2024 will continue to be equipped with the Teammate automatic parking system. The car also has an advanced parking function “allowing people to park safely and conveniently.”

The additional equipment on the upgraded version of the Toyota Mirai is still limited. The car only has additional 64-color interior lighting system and digital key technology.

Currently, Toyota has not shared information about the upgrades to the powertrain system. On the current version, the Toyota Mirai is equipped with three hydrogen fuel tanks, a fuel cell stack, a 1.24 kWh lithium-ion battery, and a 182 horsepower electric motor that powers the rear wheels.
