The Mercedes-Maybach S580 has been upgraded in both appearance, interior, and performance with the Brabus 600 Masterpiece tuning package.
Renowned German tuning company – Brabus has just unveiled its latest tuning package for the Mercedes-Maybach S580 called the Brabus 600 Masterpiece. For this tuning package, Brabus has made a series of upgrades in terms of appearance, interior, and engine performance.
Brabus did not make too many exterior changes to the 600 Masterpiece tuning package. Therefore, the Mercedes-Maybach S580 still retains its classic and luxurious design. The most prominent detail on the outside is the Brabus Monoblock M “Platinum Edition” 22-inch wheels in Shadow Grey. In addition, the car is also equipped with a carbon body kit, including front fender flares, front bumper, and rear diffuser. It also comes with a Brabus logo front grille, sports exhaust pipes, and a Shadow Chrome enhancement package. Finally, the tuning company added the Barbus Masterpiece logo on the trunk and D-pillars.
The interior of the Brabus 600 Masterpiece features a striking emerald green color. Details such as the seats, central control panel, steering wheel, carpet, and headrests are all upholstered in green leather, combined with interesting diamond-shaped stitching. The armrest surface and central control panel are decorated with carbon fiber and the Brabus logo is printed on the back of the seats.
Of course, all the luxury and amenities of the S-Class are preserved. The Brabus 600 Masterpiece is equipped with business-class seats with ventilation and heating functions. The modern cockpit features 2 large digital screens. The Burmester 4D surround sound system and interior ambient lighting provide an excellent entertainment experience for the owner.
The twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine of the Mercedes-Maybach S580 has been retuned by Brabus, producing up to 591 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, an increase of 95 horsepower compared to the standard version. The power is transmitted to the wheels through an AWD drivetrain and a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Thanks to the increased power, the Brabus 600 Masterpiece accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, 0.3 seconds faster than the S580 and on par with the Mercedes-Maybach S680 with a V12 engine. The electronically limited top speed is 250 km/h. In addition, the Brabus 600 Masterpiece tuning package can lower the ride height by an additional 20cm thanks to the added Barbus SportXtra air suspension module.
