After a long period of releasing some upgrade images, the Hyundai Tucson 2024 has recently been officially launched in the Korean market. After three years since the new generation was introduced, the Korean automaker has released an upgrade version to enhance its attractiveness to customers. The C-segment crossover model currently has good sales in many countries, including Vietnam.
The starting price of the Hyundai Tucson 2024 is from 27.71 million Won (~496 million VND) for the 1.6 Turbo gasoline version; 30.48 million Won (~545 million VND) for the Premium version; 34.39 million Won (~615 million VND) for the Inspiration version. The standard 2.0 diesel variant is reduced to 30.13 million Won (~539 million VND). In addition, the 1.6 Turbo Hybrid variant ranges from 32.13-38.58 million Won (~575-690 million VND).
The showcased Tucson 2024 belongs to the Hybrid version, which has a more eye-catching appearance than the gasoline version. The front bumper features an extended central air intake, separated by two air vents with LED lighting clusters inside. The contrasting color painted bumper with more muscular lines helps the car look more athletic.
The alloy wheels have a new angular design, giving a sportier feel. The rear end has little change as it still uses the same taillight cluster as the predecessor. Similarly, the rear bumper features contrasting color and extends to the sides, enhancing the visual impact and creating a seamless connection for the car.
The interior is equipped with a curved extended screen, connecting the touch panel and the instrument cluster. Each screen size is up to 12.3 inches, but this design is said to be too common and does not create much differentiation compared to the previous generation. The function buttons placed below are simplified to add a touch of luxury to the car.
The N-line variant is equipped with some unique details such as the N logo, 19-inch alloy wheels specially made for the N version, front and rear bumpers with additional sporty trim, side trims in body color, and dual exhaust outlets at the rear.
In addition, the standard equipment on this C-segment crossover model includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, e hi-pass (Hi-Pass) – allowing road toll payment without a physical Hi-Pass card combined with CarPay application, new Digital Key, and fingerprint door opening.
The hybrid version is equipped with “E-Motion Drive,” which improves driving efficiency and comfort. This mode includes “E-Dynamic Drive” used in fast driving situations such as acceleration and sudden turns. There is also “E-Comfort Drive” used on uneven road surfaces.
In Vietnam, the Hyundai Tucson has made a splash in the market thanks to its good price and many conveniences. However, after the Mazda CX-5 reduced its price, the sales have significantly decreased. Specifically, in the past November, there were 2,195 CX-5 units sold, while the Korean model was at 1,249 units. The four variants of the Tucson currently range from 769-899 million dong.
In addition to the CX-5, this C-segment crossover model also has to compete with the Kia Sportage, Ford Territory, or Toyota Corolla Cross.
