This morning (23/11), a convoy of vintage cars was spotted at the Deawoo Hotel in Hanoi. Previously, the cars had arrived at the port of Hai Phong and attracted a lot of attention for having supercars among them.
Standing out among the vintage cars were the pair of Ferraris, Aston Martin, and Mercedes-Benz, which have been around for many years. The number of cars participating in this trip reached 8.
The pair of vintage Ferraris, the 550 Maranello and the Mondial, continue to be the highlights of the convoy. Despite their age, their presence still attracts attention at each destination.
The vintage Ferrari Mondial is more special because it was produced in the 1980s. The car is equipped with a powerful V8 engine producing up to 300 horsepower and 323 Nm of torque. It comes with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Both cars feature the signature red exterior color of the Italian brand.
The Ferrari 550 Maranello was produced in 1996 and is equipped with a 5.5-liter V12 engine, producing 478 horsepower and 568 Nm of torque. It comes with a 6-speed manual transmission. The engine is located in the front and the car is rear-wheel drive.
Along with the pair of Ferraris, there were other names in the convoy such as Aston Martin V8 Volante, Morgan, Alfa Romeo Spider, Volkswagen Camper Van, Ford V8, and a classic Mercedes-Benz.
The convoy will quickly depart for Lao Cai and end its tour of Vietnam on November 24. Earlier, there were also British cars that arrived in Vietnam to participate in a long journey, but this is the first time that classic Ferraris have made such an appearance.
