Supercars equipped for the police force are no longer unfamiliar when security forces in Dubai have many models such as Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, Bugatti Veyron 16.4, Ferrari FF, Porsche 918 Spyder, etc. However, recently, the Italian police force has surprised by adding the Lamborghini Urus Performante to the patrol team.

This is the second vehicle used for this purpose, following the Lamborghini Huracan of the Italian police.

The exterior of the car combines the traditional blue and white colors that the Italian police use on their patrol vehicles, along with the three-color stripe of the country’s flag and the reflective police logo on both sides of the car.
In addition to the special paint, the super SUV also features slim LED lights and a siren like dedicated vehicles for security duties.
The upgraded interior space of the car with some special equipment such as a notification screen above the central control panel, an armored weapon compartment. The cargo space has a portable refrigerator to preserve organs during transportation and a vibrating heart machine for emergency rescue situations.
Under the hood of the Lamborghini Urus Performante is still a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine, producing a maximum power of 657 horsepower and a maximum torque of 850 Nm, combined with all-wheel drive. Thanks to that, the car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds before reaching a top speed of 307 km/h.
Urus Performante is the sixth Lamborghini to be put into service in the Italian Highway Patrol and 2024 will mark the 20th anniversary of the cooperation between the automaker and the Italian police force.
In Vietnam, a Lamborghini Urus Performante has a retail price of about 16.5 billion VND when officially imported. In Europe, the car is priced at around 209,000 Euros (~ 6.5 billion VND).
