These dealerships are selling the Honda Accord for only 1.079 billion VND, which is a 240 million VND discount compared to the listed price. According to the announcement from Honda Vietnam since the beginning of the month, the mid-size sedan Honda Accord is currently enjoying a 50% reduction in registration fee and 1 year of comprehensive insurance for the body. This program applies to customers who sign purchase contracts and complete 100% payment procedures by January 31, 2024. The starting price of the Honda Accord is 1.319 billion VND, so the registration fee reduction for this model is worth 66 million VND.
In 2023, the Honda Accord regularly had programs to support registration fee reduction, but its sales performance was still very weak. In December 2023, this model only sold 7 cars, a decrease of 30%. This is also the only model in the mid-size D-segment sedan category with a decline in sales.
The cumulative sales of the Honda Accord for the whole year are extremely low, at only 58 cars. With this sales figure, the Honda Accord firmly holds a position in the top 10 least-selling cars in Vietnam in 2023.

Compared to competitors in the same segment, the Honda Accord has some significant disadvantages such as high price and only 1 variant. In addition, as a completely imported vehicle, the Honda Accord does not enjoy the government’s policy of reducing registration fees in the second half of 2023.

The car is equipped with a 4-cylinder, turbocharged gasoline engine with a capacity of 1.5L, generating a maximum power of 188 horsepower and a maximum torque of 260 Nm. Accompanying the engine is a continuously variable transmission (CVT) gearbox with Eco and Sport driving modes.
Furthermore, it has active safety features similar to its competitors, such as collision mitigation braking, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, automatic high beams, lane departure mitigation, and lane keeping assist system.
