The newest edition of the Honda Dream model has just arrived in Vietnam, having been manufactured in Cambodia. The motorcycle still utilizes a 125cc engine with electronic fuel injection.
After approximately one month since its launch in Cambodia, the first shipment of Honda Dream 2024 motorcycles has been imported to Vietnam by a trading company. It is reported that the Honda Dream 2024 has been developed and upgraded by NCX Honda (a company that produces and distributes Honda motorcycles in Cambodia) based on the 2023 version. In the land of temples, the Honda Dream 2024 is priced at around 2,500 USD (equivalent to approximately 61 million VND). The price of this model in Vietnam has not yet been announced.
The Honda Dream 2024 has dimensions of 1,868 x 697 x 1,051 (mm) for length, width, and height, respectively. It has a wheelbase length of 1,200 mm, ground clearance of 143 mm, saddle height of 751 mm, and weighs 98 kg. These specifications are equivalent to those of the 2023 Honda Dream model.
In terms of design, the Honda Dream 2024 remains largely unchanged compared to the previous version. However, certain details on the motorcycle have been modified by the manufacturer to differentiate it from previous iterations. Firstly, the decorative decal set on both sides of the body features a new design with 3D graphics that create an effect when illuminated by light. The front fender corner is also adorned with two yellow stripes, which represent the color of the Cambodian royal family.
In addition, the decorations on the small yellow copper overlays attached to the front fender have also been redesigned to be “tone-on-tone” with the style of the new decals. Some details such as the foot brake lever and gearshift lever are now chrome-plated instead of zinc-plated, giving the motorcycle a more classic appearance.
Furthermore, the display cluster on the Honda Dream 2024 features a new pattern with yellow borders for decoration, separating the areas that display vehicle information. It also includes many diamond-shaped blocks connected to each other, creating a unique aesthetic. The plastic rim surrounding the instrument cluster is painted gray instead of gold, as seen on the previous version.
The Honda Dream 2024 still features an LED headlight system with daytime running lights. The turn signals use Halogen bulbs. The motorcycle still utilizes a traditional mechanical key, with the seat lock integrated into the rear body. The fuel tank capacity of the Honda Dream 2024 is 4 liters.
Regarding the powertrain, the Honda Dream 2024 continues to use a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 124cc engine with electronic fuel injection technology. The power and torque specifications have not yet been disclosed by the manufacturer. This engine is paired with a 4-speed transmission.
