The Rolls-Royce Cullinan facelift was recently spotted by street photographers during a test drive. This could potentially be an update in the model’s lifecycle, following its initial launch in 2018 with a powerful V12 engine and before Rolls-Royce transitions into an all-electric car brand in the early 2030s.

The car’s exterior is partially exposed, revealing the new Cullinan’s stunning cherry red paint. The front design remains familiar, featuring the iconic lighting cluster from its predecessor, but with a smaller Pantheon grille. Similar to the new Phantom, the Cullinan facelift is expected to have a light-up grille.

The front bumper no longer features a simple air vent and chrome trim, but instead showcases angular air vents with a sportier touch, accompanied by a black inner divider.

The 2024 Rolls-Royce Cullinan maintains the overall design of its predecessor, with potential new wheel design options for customers. The rear of the car undergoes minimal adjustments, featuring a larger exhaust tip and increased chrome trim. These details indicate that the British luxury car brand will continue using an internal combustion engine for this model in the coming years.

The exterior changes may not be significantly impressive, indicating that there may not be any modifications to the twin-turbocharged 6.75-liter V12 engine powering the updated Cullinan. Currently, this engine delivers 563 horsepower in the standard version and 591 horsepower in the sportier Black Badge version. It is highly likely that this will be the last Rolls-Royce SUV with an internal combustion engine, as future generations are slated to adopt fully electric powertrains.

Rolls-Royce is renowned for keeping its new model release dates under wraps. The Phantom VIII was introduced in 2017 and received an update in 2023, making it possible for the Cullinan, which debuted in 2018, to announce a mid-cycle update in 2024 or 2025.

In Vietnam, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan is the most popular model within the brand’s lineup. The country currently boasts a fleet of over 30 Cullinan SUVs, consisting of various versions, ranging from the Black Badge to the exclusive Mansory customized edition. The after-tax prices of these SUVs range from 32 to 40 billion VND (approximately $1.4 to $1.8 million), depending on the imported unit and additional equipment.
