Last night, on March 3, 2024, social media platform TikTok unexpectedly spread information about a 12th-grade male student from Hung Vuong High School in Phu Tho, who received a luxurious Rolls-Royce Ghost as a graduation gift from his parents. This unverified news quickly caused a stir in the online community.
However, the owner himself later spoke up to debunk the rumors. According to Mr. N.D.H, the owner of a construction company, who was speculated by netizens to be the student’s father, he shared that he did not know who created this false news, which heavily affected his child’s psychology. He shared that he is the uncle of the child’s mother, and that the child’s father passed away 11 years ago, so he loves the child very much.
When I attended my child’s graduation ceremony before the exams, I arrived there in a Rolls-Royce Ghost, but someone filmed it and posted it on social media with the content that I am the child’s father and bought him the expensive car. Therefore, there is no truth to the rumor that the parents gave their child a Rolls-Royce Ghost as a graduation gift in Phu Tho as rumored by netizens.
Regarding the luxurious Rolls-Royce Ghost, it belongs to the first-generation Series I model. When it first arrived in the country, the price was over 18 billion VND, but currently, this car is being sold for about 5.8 to 7 billion VND, depending on the model, exterior and interior condition, as well as the odometer reading.
The Rolls-Royce Ghost luxury car is equipped with a 6.6-liter V12 engine with twin turbochargers, delivering a maximum output of 562 horsepower and a peak torque of 780 Nm.
Combined with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, the Rolls-Royce Ghost takes about 5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. Its top speed is 250 km/h.
