Recently, images of the supposed Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2024 model rolling on the roads in the Philippines have been circulating on social media. However, this is not the new generation version but rather the second upgrade of the SUV model.

Based on leaked images, it can be seen that the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2024 will receive some exterior refinements, focused on the front area of the vehicle. The D-sized SUV will feature a refreshed front grille and a new front bumper trim. At first glance, it seems that the SUV has updated its appearance inspired by the Xpander model. The LED headlights and daytime running lights also appear to have been redesigned.

In addition, the car will also receive a set of alloy wheels with a multi-spoke design, two-tone finish, which seems to be inspired by the Xpander MPV. The new wheel design brings a sportier and more youthful feel to the Pajero Sport 2024.

There are currently no images of the rear of the car, but it is highly likely that Mitsubishi will make changes to the taillights, tailgate, and possibly the rear bumper.

Under the hood, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2024 will likely use the new 4N16 2.4L turbo-diesel engine. For the twin-turbocharged engine variant, it will deliver a maximum output of 204 PS and a maximum torque of 470 Nm. Meanwhile, the single turbocharged engine variant may offer a maximum output of 183 PS and a torque of 430 Nm. Transmission options could be an 8-speed automatic and a 6-speed manual.

The upgraded version of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2024 is expected to be unveiled at the Bangkok International Auto Show 2024, which will take place at the end of March 2024.
