The 2025 Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid: Porsche’s Ultimate Hybrid Powerhouse

When Porsche unveiled the 2024 Panamera back in November last year, they hinted at four hybrid powertrain options. While the other variants have been on the market for some time, it’s only now that the German luxury sports car manufacturer has revealed the final piece of the puzzle: the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid. And it does not disappoint.

Under the hood, the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid boasts a PHEV system, combining a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a potent 187-horsepower electric motor. Together, they produce a staggering 771 horsepower and 999 Nm of torque, an increase of 81 horsepower over its predecessor.

With this immense power, the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid sprints from 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 202 mph. That’s 0.2 seconds quicker than the previous generation’s top-of-the-line model.

As expected, the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid dominates on the track, setting a new record at the Nurburgring with a lap time of 7:24.17, making it the fastest luxury coupe in Porsche’s stable.

In terms of design, the Turbo S E-Hybrid is almost identical to its sibling, the Turbo E-Hybrid, with the exception of its distinctive badging. It comes standard with a Turbo-specific body kit and 21-inch wheels, while a carbon fiber aerodynamic package is available as an option, enhancing the car’s sleek profile.

Another standout feature is the Porsche Active Ride system, which effectively eliminates road vibrations, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride for all occupants.

The 2025 Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid will arrive at US dealerships by the end of Q1 2025, with a starting price of $226,500, excluding on-road costs.
