According to reports from the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (VAMA) and Hyundai Thanh Cong Motor Joint Venture (TC Motor), the Vietnamese automobile market in July 2024 continued to witness impressive growth compared to the previous month.
Here are the top 10 best-selling cars in July 2024:
Mitsubishi Xforce: 1,748 units sold
In July, Mitsubishi Xforce achieved an impressive 84% growth with 1,748 units sold. This result propelled Xforce to become the best-selling car in Vietnam for July, bringing its year-to-date sales to 5,638 units.
Currently, the car is imported from Indonesia to Vietnam with four variants: GLX, Exceed, Premium, and Ultimate, priced between VND 599 million and VND 705 million.
Toyota Vios: 1,745 units sold
With 1,745 units sold, an increase of 976 units compared to June 2024, Toyota Vios jumped from 8th place in the previous month to 2nd place in the best-selling car rankings for July.
Cumulative sales for the first seven months of 2024 show that Toyota Vios has sold 5,960 units. Currently, Toyota Vios is available in Vietnam in three variants, with prices ranging from VND 458 million to VND 545 million.
Mitsubishi Xpander: 1,492 units sold
The third position in the top 10 best-selling cars in July went to Mitsubishi Xpander with 1,492 units delivered to customers, a 20% increase compared to the previous month. Cumulative sales for the first seven months stand at 9,265 units.
Mitsubishi Xpander is currently distributed in Vietnam with four variants: MT, AT, AT Premium, and Xpander Cross, with prices ranging from VND 560 million to VND 698 million.
Ford Ranger: 1,276 units sold
Ford Ranger sold 1,276 units, a 12% decrease compared to June, causing it to drop three places to 4th position in the rankings. Cumulative sales for the first seven months of the year for the Ranger are 9,019 units.
Ford Ranger is currently distributed in Vietnam with seven variants, with prices ranging from VND 665 million to VND 1.039 billion.
Toyota Yaris Cross: 1,242 units sold
At the end of July, Toyota Yaris Cross recorded sales of 1,242 units, an increase of 431 units compared to June 2024. Cumulative sales for the first seven months of the year stand at 4,992 units.
Toyota Yaris Cross is currently distributed in Vietnam with two variants, with prices ranging from VND 650 million to VND 765 million.
Mazda CX-5: 1,044 units sold
In July, Mazda delivered 1,044 units of CX-5 to customers, a 17% decrease compared to the previous month, ranking 6th in the top 10 best-selling cars of the month. Cumulative sales for the first seven months of 2024 show that Mazda CX-5 has sold 6,314 units.
The Mazda CX-5 is currently priced between VND 749 million and VND 979 million.
Hyundai Accent: 985 units sold
Ranking 7th in the top 10 best-selling cars of the month was the Hyundai Accent with 985 units sold, a 1.7% increase compared to the previous month. Cumulative sales for the first seven months of the year stand at 5,973 units, making it the best-selling car in the B-segment sedan category.
The Hyundai Accent is currently available in four variants, with prices ranging from VND 439 million to VND 569 million.
Ford Everest: 951 units sold
At the end of July, Ford Everest recorded sales of 951 units, an increase of 121 units compared to July last year. Cumulative sales for the first seven months of 2024 stand at 5,393 units.
Ford Everest is currently distributed in Vietnam with six variants, with prices ranging from VND 1.099 billion to VND 1.545 billion.
Toyota Veloz Cross: 766 units sold
In July 2024, Toyota Veloz Cross delivered 766 units to customers, a 14% increase compared to June. Cumulative sales for the first seven months of 2024 stand at 3,533 units.
Toyota Veloz Cross is imported to Vietnam from Indonesia. It has two variants with prices ranging from VND 638 million to VND 660 million.
Honda City: 744 units sold
Ranking 10th in the top-selling cars for July was the Honda City with 744 units sold, a 68% increase compared to the previous month. Cumulative sales for the first seven months of 2024 stand at 4,060 units.
The Honda City is currently assembled in Vietnam with three variants, with prices ranging from VND 529 million to VND 599 million.
