The upcoming Kia EV4 sedan was recently spotted testing in the US, offering a rare glimpse of its interior.
According to the shared images, the 2025 Kia EV4 boasts a modern cabin with a large, approximately 12.3-inch screen that integrates the instrument cluster and infotainment.
Additionally, it features a 5.3-inch mini-screen for climate control, nestled between the two larger screens.
Sharing the E-GMP platform with the Kia EV3, the EV4 is expected to offer AI ChatGPT voice control, enabling users to interact with the vehicle by asking questions and giving commands with high accuracy. It will also support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Both the EV3 and EV4 utilize the same E-GMP platform as the EV6 and EV9. However, the EV3 employs a 400V system instead of the more advanced 800V system of its larger siblings. Kia has not yet confirmed the voltage system for the EV4, but it is likely to opt for the 400-volt system, similar to the EV3, to keep production costs down and offer a competitive price point.
Speculations suggest that the 2025 Kia EV4 will offer multiple battery options, including 58.3 kWh and 81.4 kWh packs, catering to diverse consumer needs.
The standard model will feature a single electric motor producing 201 horsepower. Kia is also developing a more potent dual-motor, all-wheel-drive variant to provide customers with additional choices.
The Kia EV4 is expected to start at around $30,000 (745.3 million VND), similar to the EV3. Its launch is anticipated in 2025.
