The VinFast VF 8 convoy’s journey to Tibet continues to captivate the community, with daily updates and a dedicated online following.

The team has now reached Jiuzhaigou, dubbed the “heaven on earth,” with its breathtaking scenery. Before arriving at this picturesque location, the convoy passed through several famous landmarks. However, regardless of their location, the four VF 8 vehicles consistently drew admiration from locals, surprising them with their resilience and the unique journey of these Vietnamese electric cars.

The VF 8 cars have proven their durability and adaptability, performing exceptionally well on diverse terrains. They have conquered the seemingly endless G318 roads and navigated through some of the world’s most challenging routes, including a mind-boggling 108 hairpin turns. Additionally, the VinFast electric cars have ventured to renowned destinations such as the Everest Base Camp and the sacred lakes of Tibet for the first time…

One memorable moment was when the VF 8 convoy drove past the Potala Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

During this expedition, the VF 8 team experienced varying weather conditions, from warm climates with stunning golden-leaved forests to vast expanses of snowy landscapes.

Despite the challenging terrain of high mountains and freezing temperatures dropping to -10°C, the VF 8’s stability provided peace of mind and maintained a positive, excited mood among the team members.

Bach Thanh Trung shared that on the G109 road to Ganermu, the team encountered rough patches and snowstorms, yet the vehicles maintained stable performance, averaging speeds of 55-60 km/h.

Previously, team members also observed that even in sub-zero temperatures, the battery temperature remained at a comfortable 28-30°C, with negligible energy consumption differences compared to ideal weather conditions.

The journey is being closely followed on social media platforms like Facebook and YouTube, with frequent shares, likes, and positive comments. People are impressed by the team’s experiences and the performance of the Vietnamese-made electric cars on foreign roads.

Many viewers have expressed their pride in seeing VinFast electric cars navigate international routes and showcase their impressive capabilities.

Impressive and proud. We are showing the world the standard of Made in Vietnam electric cars,” shared Hung Tran on his personal page.

The VinFast VF 8 convoy set off from Hanoi on October 8, aiming to cover 16,000 km in 30 days.
