The Omoda C5 is a strategic model car chosen by Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam, a joint venture between international conglomerate Chery Group and GELEXIMCO, to debut in the Vietnamese market. As announced in April 2024, Omoda C5, along with other Omoda and Jaecoo-branded vehicles, will be assembled and manufactured at an automobile factory in Thai Binh province with a capacity of up to 200,000 units per year, a total investment of $800 million, and is expected to be officially operational in 2026. Prior to that, vehicles distributed by Omoda and Jaecoo Vietnam will be officially imported from Indonesia and Malaysia to serve the diverse needs of domestic customers.

Up to now, the first batch of Omoda C5 cars has officially left the Indonesian port for Vietnam, preparing for the official launch and announcement of the selling price at the end of November. The first customers who pre-ordered the Omoda C5 will also receive their cars during this period.

From October 25 to November 25, 2024, Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam consecutively organized test-drive programs for customers in 15 provinces/cities nationwide, including: Hanoi, Hung Yen, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Vinh Phuc, Da Nang, Can Tho, Vinh Long, Vung Tau, and Ho Chi Minh City.

Especially during this period, customers who make a deposit for the Omoda C5 will receive valuable incentives, including:

– One-year car insurance.

– Two years or 20,000km of free maintenance service.

– Extended vehicle and engine warranty for up to 10 years or 1 million km, whichever comes first.

In addition, customers also have the opportunity to participate in a lucky draw program with attractive prizes: 1 first prize of 2 gold bars, 2 second prizes of 1 gold bar each, and 25 third prizes of 1 tael of gold each. The draws will be livestreamed weekly, and each valid deposit will receive a lucky draw ticket.
