VinFast ended 2024 on a high note, setting new records in the last quarter with a total of 97,399 vehicles delivered globally for the year. This remarkable achievement marks a 192% increase in deliveries compared to 2023, far surpassing the company’s initial target of 80,000 vehicles for 2024. The driving force behind this growth spurt was the strong demand for the lower-segment models, namely the VinFast VF 3 and VF 5, in the domestic market.
Riding on this momentum, the company has set its sights on doubling its global deliveries in 2025.
Kicking off the new year with impressive performance, VinFast delivered over 10,000 automobiles in the domestic market in January 2025 alone. The VF 3 model led the pack with more than 4,000 units sold, followed closely by the VF 5 model with 3,300 units.
The VinFast VF 3 has been a significant contributor to the company’s sales success.
VinFast also reported impressive figures for its electric motorcycle and bicycle division, delivering 31,170 units globally in Q4 2024, representing a 65% growth compared to the previous quarter and a 41% increase year-over-year. For the full year 2024, the company delivered a total of 70,977 units, a 1% increase.
The year 2024 also witnessed VinFast’s significant strides in its global expansion strategy, with successful forays into promising new markets such as the Middle East, India, and the Philippines.
