The rare sighting of a 2018 Maserati GranCabrio Sport convertible on the streets of Ho Chi Minh City has captivated car enthusiasts. It is one of only two Maserati GranCabrio Sports officially imported to Vietnam.

Interestingly, this particular Maserati GranCabrio Sport is finished in a striking pink color, while the other two vehicles in the country are reportedly in blue and white. It is speculated that this car may have been one of the two officially imported models that was later wrapped in pink.

The 2018 Maserati GranTurismo convertible, seen in Ho Chi Minh City, is the sportier variant of the GranCabrio range. There is also a more aggressive-looking and faster MC version available.

The most noticeable difference between this GranCabrio Sport and the few other GranCabrios in Vietnam is the redesigned front grille, which enhances the car’s aerodynamic performance and gives it a more aggressive appearance. The side air intakes have also been revised for a sportier look, and the headlights have been upgraded to LED units.

While the headlights have been modernized, the taillights remain largely unchanged from the previous GranCabrio model. However, the Italian luxury carmaker has updated the rear bumper and fitted a large single exhaust tip.

The interior of this Maserati GranCabrio Sport features a cream-colored theme, with the iconic trident logo embroidered on the headrests and contrasting blue stitching on the seats.

The center console and dashboard are wrapped in black and white leather, accented by carbon fiber trim. The sporty steering wheel is also covered in premium leather and carbon fiber, while the instrument cluster features carbon fiber accents.

Under the hood, the Maserati GranCabrio Sport is powered by a 4.7-liter V8 engine that produces 460 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 520 Nm of torque at 4,750 rpm.

This potent powertrain is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5 seconds and reach a top speed of 288 km/h.
