VinFast Auto has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Castrol India Limited, a leading engine oil manufacturer, to deliver reliable and accessible after-sales services for electric vehicle (EV) customers across India.
This agreement underscores VinFast’s long-term commitment to building a sustainable and trustworthy service ecosystem for electric vehicle owners in India.
Under the partnership, Castrol India will serve VinFast customers at select service workshops from its network of over 750 workshops across 300 cities in India. These centers will feature dedicated VinFast service areas, trained EV technicians, and genuine VinFast spare parts.
VinFast will provide repair manuals, diagnostic tools, and training on warranty processes, while Castrol will ensure infrastructure and technical capabilities at the service workshops. This collaboration grants VinFast customers access to Castrol’s extensive expertise, advanced service processes, and digitalized workshop ecosystem, ensuring consistent, transparent, and convenient service quality across all locations.
Castrol’s widespread network will enable VinFast to offer comprehensive and convenient after-sales services, further strengthening customer trust.

VinFast has demonstrated its commitment to India’s EV market with significant investments. Recently, the company inaugurated its first overseas assembly plant in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, with an initial capacity of 50,000 vehicles per year, scalable to 150,000, creating thousands of direct jobs. Alongside local production, VinFast is partnering with major distributors to open 35 dealerships in 27 cities by the end of 2025.
