The footage, shared on social media, shows a red Ferrari 296 GTS, reportedly driven by Zampella, exiting a tunnel on California’s Angeles Crest Highway before colliding violently with a concrete barrier.
Following the crash, onlookers extracted a body from the wreckage, seemingly still strapped to the seat, as flames engulfed the Ferrari 296 GTS. Reports indicate the passenger was ejected, while Zampella, 55, remained trapped inside the burning vehicle.

In the viral video, the Ferrari’s tires can be heard screeching even before emerging into daylight, suggesting Zampella realized the danger too late.
