The new Haval H9 is 5,070 mm long, 1,976 mm wide, 1,930 mm tall, and has a 2,850 mm wheelbase. It will be available in both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations. The Haval H9 2025 is the bigger sibling of the Haval H6, which was also present at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show.
Powering the car is a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine which makes 221 horsepower and 385 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. There’s also a 2.4-liter turbo diesel making 184 horsepower and 480 Nm of torque, paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
The car also comes with a four-wheel drive system and three locking differentials. Customers get a choice of four exterior colors: Smoke White, Tile Black, Slate Gray, and Spring Mountain Green.
In terms of exterior design, the new Haval H9 adopts a boxy body style, featuring a front grille with thick horizontal chrome slats, round headlamps with square surrounds, a rear-mounted spare wheel, and vertically positioned rectangular taillights. The gasoline-powered variants get 17/18/19-inch alloy wheels, while the diesel variants only get 18-inch wheels.
Moving inside, the new Haval H9’s interior features a large floating central display and a rectangular LCD instrument cluster. Furthermore, the center console hosts an array of physical buttons, levers, dials, and storage compartments.
