The Ferrari 812 Superfast has officially been discontinued after a 6-year production run, with its replacement, the Ferrari 12Cilindri, making its debut just days ago. The 12Cilindri brings with it a host of new design features, technological upgrades, and an interior that boasts three large screens for the first time.

The allure of the Ferrari 12Cilindri has already piqued the interest of Nguyen Quoc Cuong, also known as Cuong “Do-la,” who has expressed his desire for the vehicle and has reportedly ordered one for himself. It is not yet known whether Dam Thu Trang’s husband has signed the purchase contract for the Ferrari 12Cilindri.

At an exclusive event held in Miami Beach, the Italian supercar manufacturer showcased a range of eye-catching Ferrari 12Cilindri models in various colors, including green, yellow, white, and red, allowing VIP customers to experience the new car firsthand.

The design of the Ferrari 12Cilindri pays homage to the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona, featuring a non-removable or customizable black stripe on the bonnet as per the designer’s wishes. The interior draws inspiration from the Purosangue and Roma, and is the first in its segment to do away with analog gauges.

The car incorporates a combination of active and passive aerodynamics to enhance its drag coefficient compared to the 812 Superfast. The rear features a spoiler that improves downforce at high speeds. One side of the spoiler can tilt up to 10° at speeds above 60 km/h, acting as an air brake and generating 50 kg of downforce at high speeds.

The 12Cilindri rides on 21-inch wheels at the front and rear. Tires are either Michelin Pilot Sport S5 or Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport. The braking system comprises 398 mm front discs and 360 mm rear discs, operated electronically via a “brake-by-wire” system. Four-wheel steering is also featured.

The Ferrari 12Cilindri succeeds the Ferrari 812 Superfast and remains a purely gasoline-powered vehicle. As such, it retains the naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, which produces 819 horsepower and revs to an astonishing 9,500 rpm.

Ferrari states that the 12Cilindri Coupe uses an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h in 7.9 seconds, and reach a top speed of 340 km/h. The Spider is slightly slower, taking 2.95 seconds to reach 100 km/h and 8.2 seconds to reach 200 km/h. The Coupe weighs 1,560 kg, while the Spider weighs 1,620 kg.
